Diane Patrick, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Fresh Legal Perspective, PL and practices in the areas of estate planning and probate. Diane is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust section of the Florida Bar.
Diane was born in Belgium and grew up in Tampa, Florida, where she attended Berkeley Prep. Diane graduated from BYU in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, a minor in English, and a certificate in Spanish. She also studied abroad in the Middle East, spending time in Israel, Jordan, and Turkey.
Diane graduated cum laude from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2018. In law school, Diane was a senior editor of the BYU Law Review, a student ambassador, and a student bar association leader. She also clerked at the Utah Attorney General’s office and interned at the Utah Supreme Court. Diane moved back to Florida after finishing law school and passed the Florida bar exam in 2019. She started her career at a national law firm practicing in the areas of estate planning and probate.
One of Diane’s strengths is making legal concepts accessible and clear to anyone—she was once described by a client as “a lawyer who acts like a person.” Her goal is always to create a plan that meets each client’s specific needs.
Diane spends her free time with her husband, Sam, her three young kids, her dog, Ruby, and her kitty, Slushie.
